With our truck-mounted hot water extraction system, most carpets dry in 2 to 3 hours. We also groom the fibers after cleaning so they dry standing up — not matted flat — which speeds up drying and keeps the carpet looking newer longer. In humid NYC summers, it might take closer to 3–4 hours.
Do you move furniture?
Yes. We move couches, chairs, coffee tables, beds, and dressers. We clean underneath and then replace everything on foam blocks so the furniture doesn't touch the wet carpet. Very heavy items like large bookshelves or entertainment centers stay in place — we clean around them carefully.

Can you remove pet urine odor permanently?
In most cases, yes. Pet urine soaks through the carpet into the padding underneath, which is why surface cleaning doesn't work. We use enzyme-based treatments that break down the urine crystals at the padding level, eliminating the odor at its source.
