Removing Lipstick from a Carpet

If your carpet gets a lipstick smear it can looks like a very tough stain to remove. But the good news is that by following a few simple steps you can remove it. First use a spoon to scrape off as much lipstick as you can. Second step is to use petroleum jelly or Vasoline. Lipstick is made from petroleum jelly so applying Vasoline to the lipstick stain will soak it up into the Vasoline. Rub in in the vasoline and then scrape it up. Keep using the Vasoline till the lipstick is gone. Afterwards you can use a gentle soap to remove the vasoline.
